Performed at On the Boards, Seattle
In Imagining Iraq, I was able to present
some my studio practice as performance, sharing with the audience the exploration and discovery of
a fast, digital creative
process. Thanks to Lesley Steinman for the fantastic image above.
The images below are from the performance. They were
made live before the audience using props and digital photography equipment. Live video of the work table was projected on
screen to allow the audience a detailed view of the activity. Toward the end of the performance a slide show was given
in the same order as below. The entire performance was in silence. 12 minutes.
